My MRI showed 2 herniated discs in my low back. The pain was intense in my back and down my leg. I needed crutches to get around. Things got so bad that at one point I needed to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. After 3 days and a lot of tests and medications, the doctors told me I needed immediate surgery. I did not like this option so I put it off for as long as possible.
Once out of the hospital, I learned of Dr. Turner and Spinal Decompression on the DRX9000.  My first trip to the office I was in so much pain that I could not get out of the car. When things calmed down a little I went for a consultation and the whole process made a lot of sense. Still I was skeptical. It sounded too good to be true.
I decided to go for it and after 3 visits I was able to get around much better. After a week I did not need the crutches any more. After 3 weeks I was 95% better. Today I feel I have put this episode behind me and I feel better than ever. I am glad that I did not jump into anything and looked at the options for my care before moving ahead.

I am a softball coach and at 31 years old I was in bad shape. I couldn't even stand at third base and give signs to batters without experiencing severe pain. Walking back to the dugout was tough. My pain had been going on for 6 months. I was not sure what started it but it could have been some lifting I had done when I moved to a new home.
My doctor told me that I had 2 bulging discs aggravating a nerve in my low back that radiated down my leg to my foot. I tried some recommendations including cortisone injections which did not help me.
By chance I was eating at a restaurant next door and saw Dr. Turner's office. I went in to learn about this procedure he was doing and knew I needed to try something different.
It has now been 6 months since I finished the treatment and I feel awesome. I have zero pain now and can do everything I did before I had the back pain. I can do yard work and coach without any pain what so ever. I have been telling everyone about the DRX9000.

I'm 41 and have been doing heavy lifting for many years. I injured my low back when I was pulling a boiler out of a basement. While lifting it with 6 other people, 3 on each side, 2 of the people on my side lost their grip and I caught the full weight of the boiler on the one side. I felt something snap in my back and felt pain in my back and down my right leg. I couldn't stand up straight and could not straighten out my right leg without pain. Going from a sitting position to standing was a painful process. Touching my toes was impossible.
I started to see a chiropractor who eventually had me go for an MRI. The MRI showed 2 herniated discs at the L4 and L5 areas. I met with a surgeon who wanted to remove the protruding disc at the L5 area. I was told that once I had this surgery I would never be able to lift the weight I was accustomed to lifting for the rest of my life. I was also told that the L4 disc may need surgery at some point. I did physical therapy at my doctor's request for a 5 week period. The pain only got worse with this treatment.
I heard about spinal decompression from the chiropractor I was treating with and liked what I heard about it. 6 months of living in pain was enough. I started the treatment and in the first 4 days I felt my pain level drop dramatically. The shooting down my leg was gone during this time. After finishing the treatment program I feel like a new person. I can touch my toes without pain. Going from a pain level of around an 8 to a level consistently under a 1 and usually a 0 has been great.

When I first came in I had shooting, sharp pain down my right leg to my foot.  My knees would buckle when I walked.  I first started with this pain during my pregnancy. It went away after I gave birth and now it was back. My doctor told me I had 3 bulging discs pressing on the nerve roots. He wanted me to contact a neurosurgeon to see what should be done next.
I teach young children and am constantly sitting with them on the floor. It was very difficult for me to get up and down. In the past I was always very active. I played softball and swam competitively in College and had been walking 5 miles a day before all this started.  Now I couldn't even walk a short distance without pain. The pain made me restless at night. I could not find a comfortable position and did not feel refreshed in the morning.
I decided to go through the treatments on the DRX9000 and today my leg and back pain are gone. I can now sit with the children at work without pain.  I can even dance again with them. When the weather gets nicer, I am looking forward to getting back to walking.  I'm absolutely happy with my results with Dr. Turner.

I have been having back problems for well over 6 years. I'm 31 and work as a mechanic. Years of bending over cars had done a number on my back. Some days the pain was so bad I couldn't walk. I had constant pain in my low back and down my leg into my foot. My life was going down the tubes.
I have been seeing a neurosurgeon for a few years now. He had been pushing me to have  surgery and even made me aware that I had a 20% chance of feeling better after an operation. I had been putting it off. I tried physical therapy for a month and felt worse. I had a cortisone shot which helped for a day and decided not to do it again. The only way I was able to function was with medication. Percocet and Oxycontin were the only things that made it so I could get out of bed in the morning. Over the years the effects of the drugs was getting less and less.
My father's neighbor had seen Dr. Turner, went through the treatment, and had good things to say about it. I decided to start and had a pain level of a 10. Within the first 3-4 treatments my nerve pain down my leg was gone. Each visit after I felt better and better.
Since having completed the program, I have to say my it has changed my life. My attitude has changed. I am a nicer person and don't feel miserable because of the pain. Work is also much better. For all those think about doing this treatment, all I can say is do it.

I had tremendous amounts of pain in my low back morning, noon, and night for the last 30 years. Sciatic pain was down my right leg to my thigh. Sometimes the pain was so bad it was immobilizing. I was diagnosed with nerve damage and degenerative disc disease.
I'm 57 and deliver beer for a living. Moving 160 lb. kegs kept me in constant pain. I had to wear a back brace and receive weekly adjustments just to be able to work. I had to take a lot of days off over the years because the pain became too intense.
One day I was watching a medical show on TV and it talked about the sciences of the 2000's and talked about the DRX9000. It sounded interesting so I decided to give it a try.
I have finished my treatment program and am pain free. I have no back pain or leg pain working or playing golf. My golf game has shown a big improvement and I have gained back the distance I had from when I was younger. I can even play in cold weather without a problem. The results have been amazing.

My back pain goes back 30 years. I am 85 years old and for the last 15 years my back pain has been so bad that I needed to bend forward at the waist and use a walker to get around.   I had surgery for a ruptured disc many years ago and more recently had steroid injections and pain medications which had a marginal effect for a week or so.
My pain had progressively gotten worse to where it was difficult to get around. Sometimes breathing sent a sharp pain into my low back. My orthopedic surgeon told me he would not consider doing surgery on me and knew of no one that would work on me because of the deterioration of my back. At this point I had given up and thought that this was how I was going to have to live.
Today, after treatment on the DRX9000, my back is pain free. I can stand up straight with no pain and am able to get around much better. It was around my 10-12 visit that I noticed the pain was going away and today it has not returned.

I hurt my back when I was 15 years old. I dove into a lake to save a boat that had come free from the dock and injured my low back. I spent time in bed after the injury which was the remedy at the time for back pain. Since the injury, I have been suffering from back pain and sciatica for over 30 years. Over the years I developed bone spurs, arthritis, stenosis, pinched nerves, and other problems.
When I came to see Dr. Turner, I was a complete mess. I was on a cane in excruciating pain. Pain in my back was constant. Grading my pain between a 1-10, I would have to give it a 12. I couldn't get any relief. I spent a fortune on a fancy orthopedic bed I couldn't even sleep in. Nights were spent in a recliner. I was on an assortment of prescription medications that allowed me to function.
I started care on the DRX9000 and in the first 3-4 visits the intense pain was gone. The sciatic pain disappeared soon after.       Today I can do things I have not done in a long time. I can even tie my shoes without pain. This treatment has totally changed my life. It has given me my life back and I consider it priceless.
The one thing I had wished I had done differently is not wait as long as I did before starting care. I wasted 8 months in pain deciding whether to do this procedure after my initial consultation. Those 8 months I can't get back.

I have the distinction of being the youngest patient Dr. Turner has treated on the DRX9000. I am now 13 years old. Over the last couple of years my back pain has progressively gotten worse. Recently I was getting stabbing pains in my low back with some leg pain down to the knee.
I went to my doctor and went to physical therapy and worked my core muscles. This did not help and seemed to aggravate my back. I then went to Children's Hospital and was fitted with a brace that went from my tailbone to my chest area. I wore this for 6 weeks. I then went through more physical therapy and continued to wear the brace. Wearing the brace made my back hurt in places that didn't hurt before. My doctor said I didn't need to wear the brace as much and my back and leg began to hurt more.  I like to be active and play softball. My doctor said I could start to play again and when I did I started to feel the back and leg pain again. It seems that back pain runs in my family. My brother who is also very active has had similar problems with his back and has had surgery for a herniated disc.
My parents decided to try a different approach when they heard about the DRX9000. The idea of non-surgical sounded good. I went through the treatment and have to say I feel awesome. The pain is now gone and I can compete the way I want to without the back pain slowing me down.

I injured my low back after shoveling snow. An MRI showed that I had herniated some disks in my low back which were hitting the sciatic nerve. The pain was incredible. My left leg was going numb and I had no control over it at all.
I went to an Orthopedic Doctor who wanted me to see a neurosurgeon. I decided not to and went to physical therapy instead.
They did manual traction and traction on a linear traction machine which helped a bit.  I did this for 5 to 6 weeks but nothing worked to remove the remaining pain. The pain was getting worse and I just couldn't get over that next hump. Nothing was working to eliminate the pain in my foot.
When I first came to the Spine Center, I was still waking at night from the pain in my legs and feet.  Every day that I came, the pain went away a little bit more. Finally after 5 or 6 sessions of my treatment, I was able to sleep at night for the first time in about three months. As I progressed, the pain finally went away to the point that I am at now, just a faint, faint feeling, as if someone was rubbing a feather over the top of my toe. I am 96% better. The pain down my leg is resolved and I can sleep through the night without a problem. This makes a tremendous difference. I have recommended the DRX9000 to many people after what it has done for me. My brother will be doing this in a few more weeks.

                                                                                                                                                           John C.-  Somerville
Before I started treatment, I had very limited mobility in my neck. My neck was very stiff, and I had to hold my head in a certain position to be comfortable. I had trouble sleeping and had pain radiating down my neck into both shoulders. I was feeling miserable. I have had this happen in the past many times and this last episode had been going on for over two weeks. I think my problems go back to an old whiplash injury that happened 23 years ago. I've been taking anti inflammatorys and muscle relaxers. These medications upset my stomach.
I started treatment on the DRX9000 and noticed that after the first visit, I had much greater mobility of my neck. At the end of the treatments, I feel that my neck is better now than it's been in 23 years. My mobility is amazing and I am a much safer driver. I can actually look over my shoulder which I haven't been able to do in years.
My doctors before I had done this treatment had told me that at some point I would need surgery. Now, feeling the way I do, this won't be necessary.
